CWI was contracted by our SBE-partner Technical Disciplines Inc., to provide aerial lidar surveying services in support of an as-built survey for the SFWMD SMA 8.8 Phase 2 Levee Rehabilitation project, underneath the prime, GeoSolutions. CWI completed the 2.5 mile aerial lidar flight utilizing our NDAA compliant Watts Innovations Prism Sky aircraft, equipped with a GeoCue TrueView635 sensor to collect lidar and photogrammetric images simultaneously. Using the aerial lidar and orthomosaic imagery, more accurate cross sections and linework could be produced, enhancing the quality of the final as-built survey.
