Caulfield & Wheeler, Inc. (CWI) was contracted by the City of Boynton Beach to conduct a 2-mile route survey and Boundary & Topographic Survey for NE 9th Ave from Seacrest Blvd to Federal Highway. The scope of work includes locating all visible fixed improvements within the project limits, including building corners or indications if lots are vacant. It also involves identifying all known utilities such as FP&L, BellSouth, Cable TV, Natural Gas, Potable Water, Reclaimed Water Mains, Force Mains, Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Sewers, and coordinating with Sunshine and the City of Boynton Beach for underground piping, which will be pot-holed by the City. The survey identified platted rights-of-way, lot numbers, house addresses, ownership lines, block numbers, and easements. Elevations will be noted for centerline grades, edge of pavement grades, shoulder grades, low points, railway ditch bottoms, right-of-way lines, and intermediate grades at grade breaks, driveways, and sidewalks. The topography of complete intersections, and one permanent benchmark will be tied to State Plane Coordinates. Specimen trees onsite and within the right-of-way will also be located. Additionally, a Boundary and Topographic Survey will be conducted for MLK Jr Blvd (10th) from Seacrest Blvd to Federal Highway, including the 4 CRA lots.
